How to Install on Shopify (Direct Code)

On Shopify, we install the code directly in the theme. This ensures the AI loads at lightning speed.

1. Adding to the Storefront (For the chat to appear)

1. Open your Shopify admin panel.

2. In the left menu, click "Online Store" > "Themes".

3. On your current theme, click the three dots (...) then "Edit code".

4. In the left menu, find and click the file "theme.liquid".

5. Scroll the code to the END. Find the </body> tag.

6. Press Enter just ABOVE </body> and paste the Pounce code.

7. Click Save.

2. Adding to Checkout (To capture revenue)

1. Exit the code editor and go to "Settings" (gear icon in the bottom left).

2. Click "Checkout".

3. Scroll down to "Order status page" or "Additional scripts".

4. Paste the same Pounce code in that box.

5. Click Save. Done! Your AI agent is now active on your Shopify store.
